I think I've maybe written a dozen reviews in my life.I have a 175 great Dane.with black nails. and foot trauma from a previously abusive home before I rescued him. I can barely touch his feet, let alone trying to cut his nails . by myself.as a medium sized female.Thought I'd give these a shot. I'm actually able to close them with one hand to make the cut, which is great. Some of the others I've used in the past required both my hands on the black nails. The cut is quick and easy, on both my dog and myself. I've now cut ALL nails in ONE sitting in under 10 minutes 3x since I got these. Before I could MAYBE get 2 in one sitting and it'd take like 10-15 minutes.I've had clippers with electronic indicators of where to cut so not hitting the quick. This worked better than the high end clippers I've had. WAY cheaper too.I can't say enough good about these clippers.
