The straight stitch sliding plate is pleasant to use: very fast (instead of having to unscrew the whole plate on my Ellisimo) and there is no risk of misaligning yourself by zigzag stitching in that small hole since the machine only allows straight stitch. seams. And perfect straight stitches on a pattern in light charmeuse silk, without stabilizer. If stitch patterns (e.g. letters, words, flowers, etc.) are not recognized the first time, there is an easy way to fix them: we just have to make an adjustment called darning adjustment and voila, like magic, no stabilizer! All legs/coils on my Ellisimo, SingerQuantum Stylist, Brother are compatible (which I wouldn't have bought if Juki had been available years ago).
