IMPORTANT things to know to save you time

I bought this for my caravan so I can monitor battery usage and charging. An installation tip you might consider is to use a CAT5 or CAT6 cable between the monitor, hall sensor, power and ground. Yes, you can easily supply 12V over these flimsy wires. I used about 15 feet of cable along with these connectors which made it even easier: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PR1LFVG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. After installing this meter I could not find any instructions on how to program it. But, I thought how hard it is. Well, as it turns out, programming the device isn't entirely intuitive. Internet searches, including the DROK website, have been unsuccessful. I read all the questions and answers and reviews to put them together. And then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a PDF link on the Revain product page to the user manual in the Specifications section just below the Technical Details section in the Product Information section. Here's a link to make it even easier for you: https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/B1ubSSVdpyS.pdf. Read it VERY CAREFULLY. It really answers most questions. Well, here's what I wanted to know most about programming, and maybe you do too: 1. AH stands for ampere-hours. FYI, for an inexpensive interstate hybrid, deep cycle, 12v, lead-acid, group 24, that's about 60. If you have two for your trailer like I do, set that number to 120, eh in AH1 20.0 . Be sure to hold the square top button down for a few seconds for it to click into place. All of this should flare up for you when it happens. 2. FU means something different here than you might think. In this case, this should be your voltage reading when FULLY CHARGED. For a 12 volt system like my trailer, this should be at least 12.6 for a healthy, fully charged battery. So I set this number to FU0 12.6.3. As for the other settings, I wasn't worried about anything other than making sure they were all set to '0' as I didn't want the alarm to go off. Hope that helps. Thanks for all the other reviews with tips, especially holding the square top right button for settings to stick.
