Review on 63124 Eclipse Black 2 Inch Carrier by Justin Hines

Fantastic! I've been looking for what appears to be a well made, economical Class 1 hitch bike rack for some time. This seemed to fit the bill and based on previous positive reviews (thanks everyone) I went ahead and bought. I wasn't disappointed! The bike rack itself is very heavy and feels well built and solid. The swivel function is great, but luckily my sunroof can protrude a few millimeters over the bracket (with the bikes on it). I got lucky! However, there's really plenty of room for those with a smaller hatchback that opens vertically. The rubber mounts that hold the bike's frame in place feel very strong and well made, and the Velcro straps don't move at all; it is great. Immediately after purchasing this rack, I drove 1,800 miles across the country in a loaded car. Every time I stopped for gas I checked things and the bikes on this stand were safe. I recommend using 2 bungee cords on each side (of the wheels) to prevent your rims and tires from jumping around. Chances are if you've ever used a rack before you know all about it. Otherwise, I have no other recommendation than BUY! It's great and you won't be disappointed. I hope for many years of trouble-free operation. It seems like it should last a lifetime.
