I've been using this product for a year.

I have been using this product on my racing mountain bikes for a year now. This is normal, but does what is necessary. You can only use it to carry one bike at a time, otherwise they will rub against each other and scratch the paintwork. It's also pretty wobbly in the hitch without a hitch tensioner.

It doesn't fit 4 bikes and the tow hitch doesn't work

I like the luggage rack, it's quite sturdy but the only problem I have is that I only have 3 bikes can accommodate. I just don't see how it will fit 4 bikes unless all bikes are road but no 4 mountain bikes will fit. Update: 25.02. Just used a few weeks ago, sack to LA and back, no problem, very durable. Now I just bought a hitch lock: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SYPMVVT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and because of the built in nut that goes in it my locking pin…

Good reliable bike rack

I did a lot of research before purchasing this bike rack. I've seen many reviews where people said other bike racks were bent and their bikes had been dropped or pulled while riding. Of course I didn't want that. This one seemed pretty solid. So far I've taken it on two trips, each 2 hours apart. So far no problems. I installed it on the rear bumper of my caravan. The bike rack fits into the receiver. The pin is screwed in and needs to be tightened with a wrench, which I like. It definitely…

Great solid hardware for my Curt hitch.

This shelf came really quickly from Revain (not bad for the free shipping!) and it's a heavy piece of metal! It is very durable, assembled in 15 minutes and looks beautiful. As someone else mentioned the instructions are wrong, you need to insert the grub screw from the driver's side, not the passenger's side, as the threads are on the left side of the hitch. I even called the company that makes this rack and they said the instructions were wrong. I don't know why people complain about issues…

Fantastic! I've been looking for what appears to be a well made, economical Class 1 hitch bike rack for some time. This seemed to fit the bill and based on previous positive reviews (thanks everyone) I went ahead and bought. I wasn't disappointed! The bike rack itself is very heavy and feels well built and solid. The swivel function is great, but luckily my sunroof can protrude a few millimeters over the bracket (with the bikes on it). I got lucky! However, there's really plenty of room for…

Very satisfied

I bought this mainly because it was cheaper than the Allen brand and other more expensive ones. There were a lot of great reviews so it's always nice to save money and get a quality product. It easily holds my mountain bike and my fiancé's road bike and they seem to be very secure on the velcro straps. I tied the wheels of the bikes with bungee cords to keep them from spinning freely and the handlebars from twisting back and forth. I've noticed that the bikes wobble a bit when stopping or…

Great bike rack but the tow bar doesn't lock

Overall a solid rack. Also suitable for children's bikes due to the narrow handlebars and straps. There have been some issues getting two adult bikes side by side, but it all depends on the bikes themselves and their construction. Sure, you put them in opposite directions, but even then it's difficult. The first had to be mounted normally, the second had to be mounted with the help of a stand between the seat post and the crank. So it was pointing down. And it works fine as long as your car has

Worked great! on Accessory

I purchased this item to replace a Yakima Bighorn 4 bike rack that was recently stolen from my XTerra. The stand itself came in a box that was a little wrinkled when unpacked. It was sent from a HUGE box but nothing was damaged or out of place upon inspection. Mind you, the parts are very well made and therefore heavy. All fasteners were included in the scope of delivery and were provided with screw lock if necessary. One tip; Due to the thread locking on these items, using the supplied hex key
