Very good compass and great that it is NOT from China like it is now. and easy to read, it will do everything the average person needs for basic navigation, hiking, camping, etc. To be honest I like it more than an army compass. Yes it doesn't have all the bells and whistles, yes I know what to do with a fancy compass, I had 13v as I'm sure some readers do. For the occasional user who needs to get from here to there without getting caught in fire this is a great compass, well made, can't fault it.
