It was pretty cold here in Illinois and the ground was covered in a bunch of weird grainy white stuff that kept me from trying out the new camping paraphernalia in the wild. In the meantime, I've been perfecting my kitchen set and practicing cooking around the house. This cooking set is very light and appears to be very durable. The pan/lid is the perfect size for cooking some halved bacon and the lid function works well too (FYI to use it as a lid it needs to be open side up). The handles are a bit suspect, but that's mainly because the handles of the pan/lid and main pot are not centered when stacked, so there's no good way to easily attach the handles. Combine this kitchen set with the all-new cross-plate burner and rack, titanium saucepan lifter, titanium folding cutlery, plastic folding half- and third-cup measuring cups, half tablespoon and half teaspoon measuring spoons, and a p51 can opener and you're set to get your hands on a simple cook. A set that can handle almost anything you might want to eat on a hike/bike ride.
