Review on Gillette Fusion5 ProGlide Men's Razor, 1 Cassette, 5 Carbon Blades, FlexBall Technology, Trimmer by Devaraja Devaraja ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

It is impossible to use, a bad product.

Shaving with a fresh cassette makes only a pleasant impression. But cassettes get dull very quickly. In addition, as I already mentioned in the shortcomings, the cassettes for Gillette razors, both Mach 3 and Fusion 5, come across very different quality. Some serve an even more or less sane period, for three or four weeks, and some become noticeably dull by the second or third shave, and begin to leave "stumps" and tear hair. Given the cost of the cassettes, this is completely unacceptable. There were also problems with the material of the handle. In the second year of use, it softened, and turned into a cross between gum and window putty. I didn’t spill anything on the pen, I used only branded gels and ordinary soap without additives. The only advantage of Gillette is that these machines are in abundance in any store. But from one of the most advanced brands, you expect something more than an aggressive marketing policy.

Pros
  • Availability. Machine tools, as well as cassettes for them, can be found everywhere without any problems. Sharp, at first, blades.
Cons
  • Very uneven cassette quality Heavily overpriced Poor handle material Trimmer clogs instantly
