You can choose between two: strong adhesion, easy removal or affordable price.

but not all three. I have been using 3D printers from different manufacturers for almost 5 years and this is my main takeaway when it comes to prints. This glass print bed brags about its extra layer that supposedly provides adhesion, but in my experience it doesn't. I've tried to trust it by testing higher bed temperatures, slower print speeds, and different PLAs, but glass is glass. Some printer models, room conditions (temperature/airflow) and filament allow you to print without a liner/margin. In others you won't. I tried this bed at two different ambient temperatures (75f and 68f) and produced a number of test prints of varying quality. In my opinion, this is a great glass bed, but you should definitely use something like sugar water or glue to help it stick. Only with this glass bed is it very successful. With one I get perfect adhesion during printing and easy removal after the bed cools down at *this* price. Mysimplefix has a great youtube video on how to use sugar to increase adhesion for prints. It's very simple and works well with this bed. I got the glass because I have a cheap Ender 3 for personal use with a quality build plate that helps the glass line up. It does the job!

Pros
  • Easy to remove model in 1 minute: The microporous composite coating has a microporous structure. The filament is "pushed out" due to the temperature drop of the platform and the shrinkage of the composite materials, which allows the model to be easily removed.
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than other
