Super thick? I can't imagine how skinny normal ones are. For reference, I threw out about 20 pounds of trash a week. For the first week I lifted the bag to use the cord and ended up pulling about 8 inches of cord from the bag. In addition, our cat made a lot of holes in the bag in a week. This week I tried not to repeat last week's fiasco. I picked up the bag and started tugging at the drawstring. It doubled in length slightly, and I was afraid it would break. I tied it in a knot and picked up the bag, grasping both the bag and the drawstring. I will not keep them in my Prime subscription.
