Review on πŸ–ŒοΈ Wooster 1832/1831 Painters Brush Cleaning Tool by Jonathan Sriubas

Great time and money saver removing paint

Bought this after buying an old farmhouse and needing to paint. I had to paint in the few free hours I had each day, so I cleaned a lot. These things have revolutionized the way I clean my brushes. It's much faster with this tool. I use my teeth or comb to comb the brush through while washing the paint off. If you slide the tines through the brush and then pull them back toward the handle, you can get a lot of paint by pouring water on the brush. I use a section of the brush to brush dried paint off the outside of the bristles. Hold the brush with your left hand, and then move your right hand away from the brush handle. The only thing I wish this tool was different is the brush's bristles. They are just too soft and bend. If they were stiffer, like a welder's brush, they would be perfect. However, if you move the bristles away from the brush handle when cleaning, they don't bend as much and everything works perfectly. After cleaning and rinsing your brushes, they should look almost new. Just dry them by hanging them on something by the handle and you'll save a lot of money on brushes. I would definitely buy this tool again despite the soft bristles.

Pros
  • Also reshapes brush before storage
Cons
  • Slightly torn
