This foldable wall socket extender is extremely flat

This flat wall socket extender is perfect when the power cord needs to be as far away as possible when the furniture is against the wall where the socket is located. Other similar extensions I have are a good half inch thicker than this one, which keeps the furniture from being very close to the wall. However, the material it's made of tends to be "too stretchy" rather than the softer, hard, rubbery material used in similar high-end products. I'm wondering about the durability, especially the hinge part. Time will tell, but so far it's working great.
