Review on 🔌 Kidde Nighthawk Carbon Monoxide & Gas Detector, AC Plug-In with Battery Backup, Digital Display by Dean Gomatham

My mom lives with us and sometimes forgets to turn off the gas stove when she cooks so I come home and the house smells of gas. I bought it thinking it could detect gas but it doesn't! When I bought this a few months ago I plugged it in right next to the stove thinking we wouldn't have the same issues as before. NOT CORRECT! Today I came home at 6:00 p.m., my mother said that she would finish cooking at 5:00 p.m. At 9pm when I watch TV in my upstairs bedroom I smell gas. I immediately ran downstairs to find that two stove taps were working and gas was blowing for almost 4 hours! And that Kiddi Alam next to the stove? TOTALLY USELESS! Wow. Unbelievable. I guess I shouldn't rely on detecting carbon monoxide!
