Review on 🐟 NICREW Electric Aquarium Vacuum Cleaner: Advanced 2-in-1 Gravel Cleaner for Medium and Large Tanks by Lisa Farley

I wish I could add more stars

I have a faucet that I have been using for several years. So far I've used a small push-pull suction thing for water changes, which can pull some off the top of the rocks but doesn't really help under the rocks. I finally wanted to get a good cleaning. Since it's only an 8.8 gallon tank, even a regular gravel cleaner ran out of water before I could do almost anything. without lowering the water level at all, so I took that out this morning and tried it. And I loved it. Completely. First my advice is to start at the back of the tank as it gets harder to see as the water layer increases. I started at the front so it was too cloudy before half the distance to go that far. If I started at the back, muddy water wouldn't matter. The cable is more than long enough and has an extension for even deeper tanks. I was concerned that the water would come out under pressure since it wouldn't sink into my shallow tank, but it doesn't, it just flows out as you can see in my video. It does an amazing job - I was amazed to see it pull out from under the gravel my regular siphon couldn't get in. I check all possible levels every month and can't believe my numbers were as good as they are with all that junk hiding under the gravel. EVERY aquarium owner should have this. I will start doing this every month or two when I do my weekly water changes. The filter also has a cartridge that can be flipped over to use as a suction device, but I can still use the cartridge I always use for this when I change the water. , I don't need this feature, but it would be handy for people with large tanks or those who can't just rely on gravity and pumping.
