Review on AbelMed EMR by Michael Wehrman

I like how easy this system is for managing all my patients, from basic visits through billing/refill scripts. Also there are numerous templates available. Accessing information can be challenging as it takes some time before one familiarizes themselves with the interface and its capabilities. Overall we haven't dislikes but have heard of other companies having problems similar in scope or size. Patient data management, scheduling appointments etc which we previously used spreadsheets for - now done electronically. I like how easy it is for my patients to access their information, no matter where they are in the world! It's very user friendly, so anyone can use this system without needing training or assistance from an IT person. The interface could be more intuitive, but if you know what you're doing then there shouldn't be anything too difficult about using this program. We have been able to streamline our patient intake process as well as communicate better with insurance companies.
