I came across this product from a YouTube video while looking for information on how to clean the condensate drain line. Bought yesterday and delivered this afternoon. I immediately hooked it up to my vacuum cleaner with no problems. It's gotten very tight and tight. Love the fact that this newer version has different figure sizes (green end) to accommodate different sized vacuum hoses. What I also like is the transparent hose so I can see the water being sucked out and quickly see when all the water has been removed. Please note that the side that attaches to the drain pipe (the black end) does not fit directly into the pipe itself, but attaches to the pipe fitting like a socket or elbow. Make sure it's unthreaded on the inside, it should be a 3/4 inch slip-on. If needed, you can purchase a fitting at your local hardware store for less than a dollar. It would be nice if they included a clutch. Luckily the mine ended up with an elbow. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with the product and it saved me a call to the HVAC professional and a trip to the attic.
