We bought these for our 5 year old for Christmas. The batteries were already charged when unpacked, great! The next day we left town for a family vacation and our son took her with his cousins to the cabin where we were staying. After 20 minutes, one device no longer held a charge. We thought it might be the batteries, but after replacing them we found out it wasn't the batteries. We also tried charging them and he said they were already charged. I'm not entirely sure how this particular product has such good reviews, unless we lost out and got a bad batch.
