Review on Black Finish Yamaha NS-6490 Pair of 3-Way Bookshelf Speakers by Tawan Piyawan ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

After reading some negative feedback from customers who had been with the company for "no more than a year," I made the decision to write a review on the product. The even frequency response of these speakers is specifically responsible for their widespread popularity and the fact that they have been manufactured for many years. Let the speakers stand with their backs to the audience so that they are not staring the listener in the face. Those who are accustomed to listening to high-end audio equipment are not going to enjoy the NS-6490's neutral sound! This is a test link: https://stereo.ru/before/profile.php?tree id=58&product id=16412. Html I drove them with test CDs while monitoring the sound level with a sound level meter and keeping the Yamaha receiver in direct mode at half its volume (50W each for 2 channels at 8 ohms). They start their music at 40 Hz. 20Hz is also being played, but it is audibly and visually undetectable on the sound level meter))). On the other hand, just the bottoms are required for the Turkish drum. (Just so you know, the lower frequency of the double bass is sixty hertz. This message is intended for those of you who are fans of the band "BASS." Even though all of the insignificant details, such as sliding fingers along the strings, touching the soundboard sleeve, knocking trumpet valves, and breathing in a flute player, are faithfully reproduced in detail, I do not consider this to be a particularly impressive achievement because even basic acoustics should be able to reproduce these sounds from a CD. One must also take into consideration the fact that not all music enthusiasts pay attention to it or listen to it. This duo does an excellent job of correctly positioning the instruments on the stage, both in the foreground and the background. However, from a purely subjective standpoint, I get the impression that the disparity in speaker placement contributes to the overall smoothness of the stereo image. It would appear, but by ear, everything is in its proper place (which indicates that not everything is perfect after all)). While doing so, this pair will play the surround sound from the Blue Rays as if they were five! It is common knowledge that a good stereo system is superior to a mediocre 5.1 system, but not to the extent that the sounds emanate from the back! This is most likely due to the merit of the receiver, which is that all channels gradually drive into two while theatrical gadgets are always turned off. The space in which this miracle takes place: The ceiling is a matte stretch covering 12 square meters, the walls are covered in liquid wallpaper 3 millimeters thick, and the floor is cork. Due to the fact that the racks were of poor quality, I inserted three bronze spikes into the speakers themselves. The thunderous rumble of the corps was not audible to me. After reading the reviews, I was under the impression that there was some sort of buzz surrounding the KEF Q5. Rock would be required to provide the impetus because jazz is not buzzing. It is my intention to stuff the case with cotton, then to replace the wires inside and solder them.

Pros
  • Sound. Box with a lid. When I bought the seller, I instead of playing outdoor speakers for 30krub, I connected this pair to the amplifier and played it through there. Yamaha sounds better!
Cons
  • Dimensions. No spikes.
