More than expected. Excellent build quality.

At least I thought it was a mediocre factory job with outrageous claims. What I received was a well built, sturdy light with a sensitive magnetic switch that worked great. The battery was fairly close to the advertised capacity (common for most lithium-ion batteries), which was 2847mAh. The harness is really designed for diving, so it has extra support underwater with a rubber cuff. I'll probably never use it underwater, but if it ever rains I'll take this light. A domed emitter with a smooth reflector, this fixture has a large hotspot with plenty of floodlight. Bright enough to see an object clearly in your immediate vicinity. I personally like a warmer hue, it makes objects more defined than cool white. Colors also appear brighter. If this light suits your needs, I highly recommend it. Solid little light. Great job Vurkos! Edit: I also bought the 2000 lumen model and can only say that it is even more amazing. The output of the XHP35 is amazing. It's built like a tank, not a cheap flashlight from the local dealer. I would highly recommend one or both of these lights especially if you hunt, fish or dive. The double O-rings are a great waterproof plus that you don't often see on other waterproof flashlights. Buy one of these, you will love it.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Dubious purchase for the elderly
