Awesome Sports Flashlight

I took these lights on an 80ft dive in the Gulf of Mexico and they worked great! The batteries charged perfectly, lasted the full 45 minutes of the dive and after rinsing and drying showed no signs of corrosion or surface damage. I think this flashlight is a winner and I will be using this instead of the bulky traditional dive lights I have used for the last 20 years.

Good for diving and snorkeling at first

This flashlight seemed good at first from the packaging including replaceable o-rings, 3000mah battery. on my second dive with it, the light started to flicker from time to time. Watch the video how it happens on my table. This happens at all brightness levels and the light doesn't come on for more than 2 minutes so I don't think the thermostat turned it off. return window.

very bright for dive lights

I just used this light in a cenote in Mexico. It's quite bright and once you get the hang of it, it works great. I haven't figured out how to connect to my BC. There doesn't seem to be a ring or obvious place to attach a lanyard. Maybe there is, but I just overlooked it. But it's comfortable to hold, and I tucked it up the sleeve of my wetsuit so it gleamed on whatever I pointed at. Once I got used to this method, it worked fine.

Pros
  • Decent performance

Works as advertised!

I needed an inexpensive dive light so I bought it knowing the risks. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product and I really appreciated the warm light that is less harsh for the underwater environment. I also appreciate the multiple levels of lighting. The only negative feedback is that I'm not a fan of buttons because I find them heavy when wearing thick gloves. Otherwise, the dive light feels solid and reliable despite being very light.

Compact and bright for diving and snorkeling

I wanted a powerful, compact and bright flashlight - so far this seems to be all three. Of course, only time will tell how durable it is. I love that it comes with a rechargeable battery. It has multiple brightness levels and it's good that you can save battery when you need it. The brightest level is very bright and I was impressed. I can't confirm water resistance. I don't plan on using it underwater, but I like to know that if it gets wet or falls in a puddle it's (hopefully) no problem…

Smart Dive Light

So far it has survived one dive and half a dozen dives to a maximum depth of 100 feet. I would say the color temperature can even be warmer than 3000K compared to some other warm white bulbs. The jet pattern has a fairly hot spot in the center and then a faint broad jet. I found it quite suitable for general dive lighting and worked well with direct vision, but it's not very good even light for still photography and it was difficult to get acceptably lit and exposed images with my handheld…

Poor switch design for diving and snorkeling

I very rarely write reviews but should have warned others not to. The light itself is fine and I really notice a difference with the 3000K warm white light versus the much brighter blue white of most dive lights. The reds and oranges actually shine much brighter underwater than other dive lights. But after just one dive the flashlight was completely unusable because the switch was stuck in the depressed position! Although I wash my gear thoroughly after every dive, a few days later I noticed a…

Day 1 - Wurkkos WK20

Day 1: Delivered on 09/12/2019. First thoughts out of the box, solid, thick, feels heavy, nice and bright, easy to switch between settings, carvings appear to be machined to tight tolerances, looks well built. I bought it to replace the Tovatec 260 which was twice the price and submerged in 90 feet of water 14 months after purchase. I prefer Tovatec's ribbed structure, but Tovatec is too thin for my taste. The weight and girth of this lantern fits my hand better. Would like more textures for…

More than expected. Excellent build quality.

At least I thought it was a mediocre factory job with outrageous claims. What I received was a well built, sturdy light with a sensitive magnetic switch that worked great. The battery was fairly close to the advertised capacity (common for most lithium-ion batteries), which was 2847mAh. The harness is really designed for diving, so it has extra support underwater with a rubber cuff. I'll probably never use it underwater, but if it ever rains I'll take this light. A domed emitter with a smooth…
