The product is quite flimsy. When I watched the video it revealed that it has a nice square shape. And what was the shape of the box with the accompanying bags? It was included in the video. So I made the mistake of assuming I got a free pack of bags, even though it was just a sample of three at first. So now I had to buy a box of bags for this bin to get the same result as in the video. Yes, you could probably cut a thin piece of wood the size of the bottom of a trash can or styrofoam. I don't think the manufacturer's video should show the pouch box as they don't provide a free sample to get you started with the advertised form. Once I received my box of bags I have no more complaints. I love the fact that you can adjust the strap to the length you want anywhere. Of course, there are some length restrictions.
