From the description it was hard to tell what exactly I was getting. It was exactly what I was looking for. Container and brush feel "real". Makeup is plastic. My baby can easily "make-up" right next to me. My only complaint is that the containers are difficult to open at times. Some are so hard I told my daughter not to close them all the way.
