I fell down a rocky path with my iPhone 12 Pro in this case with a shoulder strap and fell hard. First, when I fell forward, the phone was on its side so it didn't hit as hard. Second, the case was badly cracked and is now a bit scratched, but has held up well and my phone hasn't suffered in the slightest. Third, I had a Belkin screen protector installed (also highly recommended) and although the screen protector cracked, the screen itself did not crack. I came out with scratches and bruises (unfortunately I wasn't in a protective case) and was able to continue the hike. So I would say that this case works very well and I highly recommend it. I still use it. Remove the strap and it fits easily in your jeans pocket. good case. A very good case.
