I have used sponge cloths for many years - since the 70's when I lived in the UK where they are the sponges of choice. Europeans know they work better than paper towels and can be reused. They also clean countertops much better than the small sponges that are common in the States. This is the best brand I have found here and I have tried many of them. Use them to tidy everything up and leave the old ones once they wear out for spills you just want to throw away. Like a dog and cat mess. A good sponge should not be missing in my kitchen!
