I bought this laptop because my kids are going back to school and I wanted my daughter to be able to attend a virtual school , in case any of them get exposed and we have to quarantine for 2 weeks. It came with Windows 10. I have created separate logins for myself and for each of my two children. I also uploaded some photos to my hard drive. I like the slideshow screensaver. The laptop still boots and runs fairly quickly. I left it in S mode to help with that. I don't have many apps installed. I use the web version of everything I need because it keeps my other laptop pretty fast too. I just mark everything I use often in the bookmarks bar. For me, getting out of S mode and installing things like Chrome and such usually slows down my productivity a lot. I just bookmark my google drive, zoom and use all over Microsoft Edge. The battery life is pretty good. I wasn't trying to watch a movie or anything, but I spent hours typing Google Docs and still had more than half my battery left. The notebook is really thin and light. This is great for kids to wear around the house. I bought an extra guarantee so I don't lose all my money if it falls or breaks.
