In response to other reviews and a few of my own comments.1. Instructions are on the box.2. The product description says it comes unassembled so the pins don't break. This seems to mean that you just have to insert the pins, but no, you have to assemble the whole thing. Yes, the screws are small. I suggest using a small magnetized screwdriver. With a little patience, assembly is not difficult at all. For the first tier, I planted it on the edge of the counter to keep it level. I simply held the following levels with my hand under the insertion points of the screws.4. The screws went in tight and quite easily, nothing dangling.5. Yes, the plastic bends a bit. It's plastic. When everything is assembled it's solid, but pressing on the middle of the "shelves" still introduces some flex, and if you press hard enough you can sure break it. It is only intended to hold spools of thread and I don't really see any problems here in normal use. Just secure it with your hand when inserting the pins to be safe.6. There are inexplicable holes on the sides of the rack. I'm wondering if this is meant to connect multiple racks together, but there's no hardware or instructions for that. My first thought when I saw them was "Oh, and there's supposed to be a dowel at the bottom?" and I checked the photo to make sure I wasn't missing anything. There are large holes at the top and bottom of the rack, as well as a few small screw-sized holes in the middle on either side. It had a couple of extra small screws that you can use to screw the side to another stand. or the extra screws could just be extra parts. No instructions on this!7. I would give another star if it was cheaper.8. You should skip the pin for larger cones like overlock thread. On the other hand, small embroidery thread cones overlap with a wide base. I have included pictures to show the screws, how they are packaged in the box, the instructions on the box and how the shelves fit together. To be honest I don't know why people have trouble building unless they're doing it wrong. I suppose if someone tried to build it bottom up instead of top down it would be more difficult. But I found out by just looking at it for two seconds before I even realized the instructions were on the box. I need at least one more rack, maybe two. Haven't decided yet if I'll buy another one. I will most likely just match them and I like long pins.
