Review on ๐Ÿ”— Beadsmith Jewelry Maker's Essential: Efficient Jump Ring Opening and Closing Tool by Hannah Curi

Small but powerful tool!

Small and mighty. When I couldn't find this ring I ordered 2 more! I make jewelry from chain mail and chain mail. So I open and close hundreds and thousands of jump rings. This product is by far my favorite for opening a stack of rings at a time. I don't recommend using it to close rings, mainly because the angle needs to be right in order to align and "sniff" past the sides of the adapter ring. each other also means putting the ring on your finger. Tip: Don't wear the ring to the end of your finger. For one, this is impossible for most of us. Ha. You wear it on the first ankle. Also, instead of twisting the ring on your outstretched finger, make a fist and lock the ring with your thumb when inserting the jump ring so that the ring remains stationary as you twist the jump ring in the slot. This will relieve you from fatigue. With this hand position I feel much better than with 2 pincers and I move much faster. General Advice: When opening multiple jump rings, place the jump ring on your non-dominant hand and the pliers on your dominant hand. Using your hand with the ring, lift the jump ring and place it in the pliers so the cut lines up properly. Then insert and turn the adapter ring. Thanks to this meat I open the ring in less than a second!
