Not used for their intended purpose but they are great
I needed a way to mount Christmas lights vertically on a brick wall. I didn't want to drill into the brick or just let the light dangle. I decided to press in a 3/4" EMT pipe between the floor and the soffits (actual distance). Then I screwed one of these equalizers into each end using the included lock nut to hold the pressure on the nut. And voila! fit snugly.The anti slip/anti slip function was key to this and they work GREAT!Very strong.
