Review on 🌬️ Delta Products Corporation BreezSignature SIG80-110D 80 by Chris Shepherd

I have replaced our 30 year old bathroom fan with a SIG80-110MH and am still very happy with it. I installed the fan myself, it took about 3 hours. This fan was a few inches larger than our old one, so I had to cut a larger square into our ceiling. I had access to the attic which made the job a little easier. The advantage of this fan is its flexibility. You can choose 80 CFM or 110 CFM depending on the size of your room. Our bathroom is smaller so I set the full speed to 80. When it's on full speed you can definitely hear it, but it's very quiet and smooth. Of course, I replaced a 33-year-old fan that sounded like a light airplane taking off, so maybe my judgment was a bit skewed. One of the main reasons I bought this model was the motion and humidity sensors. I installed a fan in the bathroom my sons use and they never turn on the fan no matter how smelly or foggy the room gets. This "smart" fan turns on at full speed when it detects motion or when the humidity gets too high. After installing the SIG80-110MH, I noticed that the motion sensor has a very wide field of view, so the fan turns on at full speed even before you enter the room. That was more than I needed, so I put a small piece of tape on half of the sensor. The fan now only turns on when motion is detected around the toilet or bath/shower. It works so well that I ended up removing the wall switch so the fan can't be turned off manually. I also really like that you can adjust the always-on speed (as long as the wall switch lasts). . Initially I set this to 30, which is the slowest speed. With this setting, the sound is barely audible. Due to extremely cold temperatures, I changed the setting to 0 so the fan only runs when motion or moisture is detected. Will definitely reset it to 30 when the weather warms up. All in all, this is a really great product! I will definitely be buying another one when we remodel our master bathroom.
