Different brands with the same ankle/calf measurements and mmHg ratings won't necessarily have the same amount of compression (even different models within the same brand) - you will still need to try out different stockings to determine what level of compression you need. I originally ordered size II based on my measurements (8.25"/13.5") - it was tighter than other brands of 15-20mmHg I had tried. But size III was perfect.
