It helps. Sometimes it just shifts the beep, but in this case it calms it down. I disagree with the screw size information. Sometimes they don't snap, but using 7/16 helps with that. If they don't break, it's no big deal. Simply fold it back, remove the bracket and insert the screw just below the break point. You can then break it off fairly easily with the open part of the jig. There doesn't appear to be any replacement packaging for the 3232 kit. However, it looks like 3251 is the same and I don't see any difference. So if you just want to get screws, 3251 is the way to go.
