When I buy tools, my selection criteria are in order of ease of use, build quality and aesthetics. This product is rated 10/9.5/10. The usability is very well thought out. The clamp feels solid and smooth, the adjusters are highly accurate and clearly marked. It's the right weight to remain stable without being bulky, and the detachable pocket hole mount is very convenient to use. I have not attached the vacuum cleaner to the dust tube yet. But it's a really nice feature. The build quality is fantastic. All metal, all well made. The hinges move smoothly and without play. I deducted half a point because the little clips that hold the detachable mount in place are a bit fiddly when inserting the detached unit into the base. But I'm picky. Very high quality drill, sleeve and hole guides. The aesthetic is beautiful. I just love how this thing looks on my bench. I wanted to buy Kreg because everyone else seems to get it. I'm so glad I chose this one. This is a great kit.
