Large markings are easy to read for my aged eyes, even in a dark garage on an overcast day. A nut on one side and a bolt on the other makes it easy to check the threads. This is especially important when some stats are so close to Imperials. (#8 - #10-32) Sometimes they can fool you with short threads like those used to assemble imported woodworking machines and some foreign cars. ANY good detective will save you time, money and frustration, but THIS is cheap. , super compact, lightweight, easy to carry and use.
