This machine produces steam at 180-200 degrees. The little bloodsuckers will fry before they bite you again. If you can afford a larger version of this machine you are better off as the MR-75 has a small water tank so after ten minutes of use you will need to allow the machine to cool down and refill for fifteen minutes. and once plugged in, wait another four minutes for it to heat up. Therefore, working with a mattress and spring block on this machine takes a long time. Works a little! Make sure you ONLY use a 14 gauge extension cord as this machine draws a lot of power. The light in the room I had turned on was repeatedly dimmed while I was using this wonderful machine.
