This bluetooth receiver, Hi-Fi wireless audio adapter, 1 Mii Bluetooth 4.2 adapter with 3D Surround aptX with low Latency for Home Music Streaming in Stereo System (updated version with power adapter) is a really great bluetooth receiver. I used to have a computer hooked up to my Logitech Z320 compact laptop speaker system, which are great powered speakers (although they're no longer made and you wouldn't want to buy them). now the dealers are charging an insanely high price). Due to some aesthetics in our house, my wife, that I'll get rid of that computer and install a Bluetooth receiver in its place. (We have speakers in the lobby, and she hates that there's a computer. I guess I can't blame her. The computer looked really out of place.) So the other day, along the lines of 'happy woman, happy life " Ordered this Bluetooth receiver from Revain and am very glad I did. the speakers are at least on par with what I've heard through the computer, and the ease of use, convenience and aesthetics of having a bluetooth receiver in our foyer instead of a computer makes them much more tolerable. This particular receiver features Bluetooth 4.2 plus AptX. As far as Bluetooth audio quality goes these days, it's as good as it gets. Setup couldn't be easier. I didn't even look at the instructions (which are written in Chinglish) until I started the device. I plugged its power adapter into a switched outlet. When I activate the outlet This receiver turns on immediately. The first mating was almost instantaneous. (And like most other devices of this type, you only need to pair once. It then "remembers" your connection.) And now, pairing with my phone is automatic and almost instantaneous. Reception is excellent, as good as any other Bluetooth receiver I have (and I have quite a few). There are two "levels" of sound quality. When the large round LED is blue, this is the "normal" tone. When the 3D button is pressed, the LED turns green and the sound is amplified. I only used the 3D effect. It sounds better to my ears. (Of course you may have different opinions. The AudioTech Bluetooth receiver I use on this system. It has no internal battery; it only works on AC power. Its power cord is designed to be plugged into a car via a USB port with Self-powered or can be used with an ENERGIZER 120W Cup Inverter 12V DC Cigarette Lighter to 120V AC to power a laptop and other devices with 4 USB 2.1A ports fully compatible with iPad and more or Quick Charge 3.0 RAVPower 40W 3A Car Charger QC Dual USB Car Adapter for iPhone X/8/8 Plus, iPad Pro 2017, Google Pixel, Sumsung Galaxy Note 8/S9/S8/S8 Plus/S7 and others. Therefore, although it does not have a battery, it can be used almost anywhere. It can even be used with one of the 2nd generation Anker 16750mAh 3A Astro E5 portable external chargers with PowerIQ technology for iPhone, iPad, Nintendo Switch and other devices or similar devices.
