Linlin Z.'s review

I think this pot is really good, like that ice cream that I like but always out of stock. Winter is not a good weather for ice cream but I really need that when I'm sad. Who knows why, but the pattern on the bottom of the pot is beautiful, just like you would see in a Korean kebab shop when they use a grill pan. I miss the sizzle of oil, and my eyes drift upward with the smoke, thinking that it might rain when I go out tomorrow. I hate rainy day, I hate to get wet.But I like to cook soup in this pot, especially corn rib soup, and I miss my hometown far away. It's great for corn rib soup in winter, but my mom doesn't like to cook cream of mushroom soup because it's a hassle to make. She is a beautiful woman with a kind heart, I remember she used to wear long skirt. She is really good at cooking, no matter how complicate the dish is, she always pulls it off perfectly. Just like cutting through butter with a hot knife, emmm, I can almost smell it.Anyway, this pot is so small, if you want to cook more for your next meal, it just doesn't fit. I don't have much time to cook when I'm busy, so I choose to open the refrigerator and see what's left over. Well, back to the pot, it's light enough that I can move one hand around, which is great for my shoulder that often hurts. Sometimes the pain is so bad that I can only do nothing and lie in bed. Outside the window is a building being renovated, and I was wondering why New York is always construction, new buildings, renovations, demolition, and then new buildings. Well, overall, this pan is a very good choice. If you like this pot, then you will also like the big iron pot in Chinese restaurants. I'd like to have double-cooked pork now, if only it was daytime, if only it was the weekend, so I could get out of my apartment and go to Chinatown, find a nice restaurant, and have lunch there.

Pros
  • Excellent sturdy saucepan. Now I'll order a bigger one.
Cons
  • It may not work well for developing a fond for sauces or gravies
