I used Truecable CAT6 23AWG straight lay cable connectors. Worked very well if you're interested. You'll need to completely unwind the wires and make them long enough (about 2 inches) to have enough length to grab. When stringing the conductors together, you must carefully cut them without bending the ends or kinking the ends. Do not use force when inserting ladders. If it's very hard, a conductor is probably stuck in the same hole as the adjacent wire. Works well when done right. I needed time to study.
