Review on Vacuum cleaner KARCHER VC 3, yellow by Adam Borken-Hagen ᠌

I will never repeat this purchase.

I do not recommend this model for purchase - one day there will be a "fool" and the latch holding the dust collector on the vacuum cleaner body will inevitably be broken. I think that this model should be discontinued in the form it is now. Unless, of course, they want to keep their reputation. Ideally, it would be great if the vacuum cleaners already broken by “krivoruchki” like me were recalled by the manufacturer for revision or at least replacement of the latches.

Pros
  • Lightweight, small dimensions - thanks to this, it is conveniently carried in two hands)) Not very noisy Powerful suction is declared at low power consumption, in fact - the most common power, at the level of competitors. "German" manufacturer - an opportunity to amuse your pride and brag to your friends)))
Cons
  • I'll ate in two years. Back in September 2022, I sent a photo of the defect and a receipt to the manufacturer’s website, received a “response” from the manufacturer’s representative office: “Good afternoon. All information has been forwarded to the KARCHER representative. Waiting for an answer." And silence . Interestingly, leaving a detailed review on the manufacturer's website is very problematic _ "invalid expressions in the review", as a result, stupidly, the entire review had to be cut to two phrases. Other buyers will read and understand nothing. And rot got to the Germans - we’ll make a show, the main thing is to sell it, real claims for quality are not considered. There is only one drawback. But very greasy. Design without foolproofing. For the first time I encounter the lack of "fool protection" from this manufacturer. To be honest, I'm disappointed. I consider myself far from being an idiot, I have vast experience in operating a VERY diverse household appliances from economy to high-end class. Somehow I got used to the fact that if something stretches and opens, then this is normal and you won’t break anything. To business. At the first inspection (that is, I didn’t even turn it on yet, which is the most offensive), in the assembled state of the vacuum cleaner, I pulled the handle for opening the dust collector lid - it’s right on top, this handle just catches the eye - I didn’t pull hard, without fanaticism - as a result, there was a click and the lid opened. As I realized a minute later, a loud click was the sound of a breaking latch that connects the entire dust collector to the body. That is, there are TWO latches on top, one can be pulled with a finger, the second is pressed like a button. And if you don’t guess which one to use first, then just break the one that holds the dust collector on the vacuum cleaner body. As a result, the vacuum cleaner seems to be operational, BUT you can forget about its comfortable carrying - now it is only on two hands, like a kitten.
