Small, a lot of Chinese, a lot of rod!
smaller than expected but not bad for the price. Some indented letters were slightly off-center on the lines. Definitely a lot of Chinese. The description says "some kind of Chinese" but there's a lot of it. The covers and inside first page are in Chinese. They come with lots of pen refills, finger holders and 2 pens. It's also not as easy as I'd hoped it would stay in the grooves. Even though my son loves them!
