Review on Atwood Checkered Suede Men's Athletic Shoes in Pewter and White by Kevin Stephan

Vans advertises their color as "black chili". I don't know why because there's nothing black inside other than the laces. IRL, the color is a very unattractive (to me at least) light silver with an odd mottled denim pattern. They are NOTHING like the picture which appear to be black vans with flashy red accents. I've looked at several photos of Vans with "black chili" both here and online and they are all BLACK. I was very happy to receive them until I saw what they actually look like. It's literally a completely different color than the picture! difference between day and night. It's not even remotely similar, how can they be called "black"? Seriously, they're silver! It's like calling red shoes green. What a complete disappointment. They look awful to me and I could never wear them in public. Returned!
