I've had the all plastic version of this brush for years and love it. It cleans the bowl easily. The handle does not bend during use. The small brush head allows you to reach deep into the bottom of the bowl. However, this version has two problems: 1. The stainless steel coating got dirty on first use when a few drops of water dripped from the brush onto the brush holder. I assume there was some residue of toilet cleaning chemicals in the water which caused this.2. The all-metal handle lacks the flexible portion of the plastic version. This makes cleaning deep in the bowl more difficult. It also makes cleaning under the rim more difficult. Finally, the plastic version's rubber flex gives you a convenient place to tap the sides of the bowl with your brush to get rid of excess water before removing it. I'm afraid I'll bend the handle or break the china if I hit the bowl with it.
