I love the idea - salt lamp and diffuser. The lamp will get pretty hot, and the bulb rests right on the salt, which concerns me it may not last that long. They do send an extra bulb which was very nice. The lamp gets very hot so be careful where you put it. The bowl at top is small and will expel the fragrance quickly.
