I bought the smallest men's size and it fits my wife's feet sizes 7-7.5 perfectly. I based it on the British number 38 to be safe enough to take the risk. And it was great. I wear an ankle brace on one foot which is a bit uncomfortable so a slightly wider shoe wouldn't be a problem and it works great. Another bonus that I wasn't aware of is that the insoles are removable so I can use my own or switch to something I like better for arch support and cushioning. I love these colors, the brown and green surfaces contrasted with the feminine pink, blue and purple tones. I know some ladies like pink and everyone wants a red car if you're under 25 and live in Iowa and everyone's favorite color these days is any shade of blue BUT trust me a lot of us girls are much more into natural and earthy colors. And usually more demanding. You are perfect. I will use rocky beaches with little sand as beach shoes on rivers on inflatable kayaks etc. The bottom doesn't seem overly slippery but it's nice that you can step into the wet area and your shoes dry fairly quickly.
