My 1x30 inch belt sander often scares me, especially when the humidity is very low. This little device stopped that, so it does the job well. This is an elastic band. First, I see that it extends over time. Second, I have small wrists and have to dress it up pretty thin for a snug fit. So it's a hassle to put your hand through the loop. I want the strap to be velcro instead. Also, just a nitpick, I also want the cord not to be twisted, just a long, straight cord.
