Review on Powerful PS 1008 Filter: Enhance Performance for Hyundai, Infiniti, and Subaru by Daniel Bruce

I made the mistake of ordering two of these so I have one in stock for later. I also thought k&n made those famous filters with a nut on the end so they must be good! Not really. I got the "Silver Performance" filter as shown in the picture. It fits and is filtered as far as I can tell. But it also leaked, which didn't make me feel good. Outlined me enough that I didn't use the second filter. So it's doomed to sit on my shelf until I throw it away a few years after getting rid of my car. I used it on my outdated 2000 Subaru Outback. The leak isn't big, the oil didn't splatter. But it leaked out enough to form a drip at the bottom. No thank you. I switched to WIX filters and I never look back.
