Works exactly as it should

Many MSATA slots, including the one in my old Thinkpad, are running at maximum SATA II speeds. This means that gaming on this SSD or using it as temporary/temporary storage space for video editing will result in high latency. On the other hand, it is ideal for storing videos, images, archives and documents. If you have a slot that you're not using, there's no reason not to add more memory.
