We wash all the dishes by hand, so the sponge is very important for us. A few years ago we had very good sponges but the manufacturer stopped making them. Since then we have searched in vain. I bought them about 2 weeks ago and so far so good. They are the perfect size 5 x 3.5 x 1.5. They looked fat when we got them, but they suit any place you need to get clean. They hold soap well and we even put one in the wash and it was like new. If anything changes in the next few months, I'll let you know.
