Installation was easier than removing the old plastic. Much easier. On the other hand, when the box was opened, a piece of plastic broke off on the inside that was part of one of the handles used to raise and lower the rack. So I'm not entirely happy, but at least I can use the rack without this part while waiting for Amazon to ship a replacement, which is better than this morning. The 4 instruction boards are a little intimidating in their conciseness but after watching the video I understand they are pretty good. It was so difficult to remove the old one that it seemed impossible that this new one could be that easy. But it is so. You need Torx #15 or you won't be able to install it.
