Review on 🐎 Enhanced Digestion and Colic-Free Feeding with Kensington Slow Feed Hay Bag featuring Extra-Durable Nylon Straps by Erin Buck

Revainrating 2 out of 5

No more wasted hay.

These hay sacks hold at least four large hay flakes. This winter/spring we had a bag for our four horses in each of our four boxes. We can go longer than 24 hours and they still have hay when we come back. We think we will bring them outside in the more favorable weather months until the horses graze in our pasture in July. We love bags. It's been less than a year since I reviewed this feeder and here's an update. All 5 of our feeders were torn at the seam or net. At first I thought it was a bag error so Kensington sent a new bag. All the bags ended up breaking, but when my wife sewed up the holes, the bag didn't tear in the same spot. Perhaps the side material is too thin and/or the seam is not sufficiently reinforced. These bags are too expensive to change every six months. Now we buy $15 bags that hold up better but don't hold as much hay.

Pros
  • Sleek and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
