To be honest, I was a bit disappointed with these earrings. The screw is microscopic, making threading incredibly difficult. Also, the posts are too long, causing them to sit awkwardly in the ear and clip onto the mask's laces. Still, I put them in for Christmas and didn't take them out. You sleep comfortably in it. They were so difficult to get in and turn that I'm afraid the next time I try I'll rip off the makeup mechanism. Look at the picture how far they stick out compared to a regular stud earring?!?!
